John the Baptist, son of Zechariah and Elizabeth and cousin to Yeshua, was as he describes it in John 1:23 ““I am The voice of someone crying out: ‘In the desert make the way of Adonai straight!” CJB. The coming of John was prophesied in Isaiah 40:3 and he was sent by Elohim to bear witness and a testimony to Yeshua the Messiah.
