Counselors That Will Make Your Life Great
Part 3 – Contentment
Content is a state of satisfaction and happiness. It is a state of shalom despite tribulations and challenges. Contentment comes from having Yeshua the Messiah. The word says:
Romans 8:28 says, “All things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.”
When there are challenges in our lives and things don’t go as we hoped, we have a sense of shalom that Yeshua is there to help us overcome. John 16:33.
Sometimes, horrible things happen in our lives; however,
Think about Joseph. He experienced human trafficking. But he said:
Genesis 50:20: “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”
Paul said, “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” 2 Corinthians 4:17.
There is contentment in Yeshua being our Savior because He is:
Our protector
“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17
He gives us strength
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31.
We know that Yeshua will defeat all evil
“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.” Romans 16:20.
Do you want to try being content? Let Yeshua be your Savior.
