Life to Elohim is very important, especially, human life. I have created humanity in His image of him. He instituted blood to be the lifeline of life.

Why blood sacrifice and not something else?

He made us with flesh and the blood. He instituted blood to be the lifeline and source of life. Of course, there is more to it, if we stop breathing, we can die, which is a type of death. But the blood is life; it provides for the function of every organ.

We were not made out of vegetables but with flesh and blood; therefore, cleansing and purification had to come through flesh and blood of our own kind.

1 Corinthians 15:39 “Not all living matter is the same living matter; on the contrary, there is one kind for human beings, another kind of living matter for animals, another for birds and another for fish. ” CJB

Jacob: Genesis 31: 51-55

The ordination of blood as life was so important to Elohim that He said:

Genesis 9: 6 “Whoever sheds human blood, by a human being will his own blood be shed; for God made human beings in his image of him. ” CJB
