Isaiah 43:25 “I, yes I, am the one who blots out your offenses for my own sake; I will not remember your sins.” CJB

The Leper said to Yeshua:

Matthew 8:2 “Sir, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

Yeshua answered: “I am willing! Be cleansed!” Matthew 8:3.

The Leper’s words reveal trust, that nothing is too big for Yeshua. They reveal Yeshua’s power for healing.  They reveal Yeshua’s compassion and willingness to save. The leper humbly asked and Yeshua humbly delivered.

Peter said:

Matthew 17:4 “It’s good that we’re here, Lord. I’ll put up three shelters if you want one for you, one for Moshe and one for Eliyahu.”

His words show and reveal that Peter did not yet knew the authority of Yeshua toward all things the new, the present, and the old.  The authority He has over all humanity including Elijah and Moshe. What Peter did not understand at the moment was that Yeshua is the tabernacle and that there is only one kingdom, one heaven, one dwelling place, one vine, and that we are the branches and there is one word – Yeshua the Messiah.
