Part 2 – Wisdom

James 1:5-6 “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all without hesitation and without reproach; and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, without any doubting—for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.”

Think about Peter, he went to ask Yeshua for wisdom concerning his feelings about forgiveness.

Think about Pharaoh in the time of Joseph, he was looking for wisdom concerning his dream and God sent him Joseph.

Think about Rebecca, she asked for wisdom from Elohim concerning her pregnancy. She found out that she had twins.  The Lord said:

Genesis 25:23 “Two nations are in your womb, And two peoples will be separated from your body, And one people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.”

Think about David he asked for God’s wisdom concerning the city he should settle after Saul and his son died in battle. 2 Samuel 2

The word tells us that a wise man listens to advice. Proverbs 12:15

How to get wisdom?

One way to get wisdom is to fear the Lord. Psalms 111:10.

Seeking knowledge by studying God’s word. Proverbs 18:15

Elohim says this:

Proverbs 4:6-7 “Do not forsake her, and she will keep you; love her, and she will guard you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.”
