The Articles of the Tabernacle Part 3-C
The Ark of the Covenant
One of the articles of the tabernacles was the curtain which represented Yeshua’s flesh. It separated the holy place from the holiest place. Within the holiest place was the ark of the covenant which represented the word, the testimony.
John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” CJB
Inside the were items that represented Yeshua the Messiah:
The Manna as Life through Yeshua
The Manna: Yeshua is the bread from heaven.
John 6:35 “ 35 Yeshua answered, “I am the bread which is life! Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever trusts in me will never be thirsty.” CJB
The Rod as the end of Captivity through Yeshua
The Rod: Yeshua is the rod that disciplines us and with such discipline comes victory over death.
Psalms 110:2 “Adonai will send your powerful scepter out from Tziyon, so that you will rule over
your enemies around you.” CJB
The Tables as a Covenant of Obedience
The Commandments as a sign of freedom through Yeshua
John 8:31 “ 31 So Yeshua said to the Judeans who had trusted him, “If you obey what I say, then you are really my talmidim, 32 you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” CJB
The ark of the covenant represents a place of safety and holiness where one can only enter through Yeshua the Messiah. He is the only one that makes all human beings holy.
The ark is the covenant or contract of obedience between Yeshua and humanity.
