Are we awake to the kingdom of Yeshua the Messiah? Do you know what time is it? Part 3
Are we awake to the kingdom of Yeshua the Messiah? Do you know what time is it? Part 3
Hebrews 10:14 “then how much more the blood of the Messiah, who, through the eternal Spirit, offered himself to God as a sacrifice without blemish, will purify our conscience from works that lead to death, so that we can serve the living God!” CJB
On the seventh month for Yom Kippur, it is a time not to work, to afflict your souls, and to have a holy convocation or gathering. The Hebrew word used is Anah/ עָנָה or humble ourselves before our Elohim. Humbleness comes through repentance, supplication, prayer, fasting, and living behind our old nature, our old ways. Through Yeshua there is cleansing, He said: “If you love me, you will do what I say” John 14:15.
What are we doing in our lives that is impacting the kingdom of Elohim? Many times, we think that we need to do big things to make a difference but the very small things are the ones that makes big difference in our lives and the lives of people surrounding us. Being forgiving, biting our tongue when we are insulted, showing humility, speaking out for the truth of Yeshua the Messiah, and being submissive.
Every day our behavior counts. Think about Noah while building the ark, he was ministering with his actions and obedience.
We need to wake up to prayer. We need to constantly be praying for personal repentance first and then pray for other believers, and other things that are happening in the world. There is more to the world than the area we live in.
During the appointed time of Yom Kippur lets us be alert in our prayer, with our time, and most of all, let us be alert in our behavior and our LOVE for each other.
Yom Kippur is about cleansing and purification and throwing all unrighteous sinful behavior in the lake of fire. During Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement, sin is taken to a place of no return. Nothing that is impure will enter the kingdom of Elohim. Yom Kippur is the last step of purification of all things.
Revelation 21:27 “Nothing impure may enter it, nor anyone who does shameful things or lies; the only ones who may enter are those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” CJB
One of these Yom Kippur, there will be the last separation of sin; Yeshua will return with all His glory and sin will be no more.
Hebrews 9:27-28 “Just as human beings have to die once, but after this comes judgment, 28 so also the Messiah, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to deliver those who are eagerly waiting for him.” CJB
One of the simplest things we can do with our time is obedience.
Are you ready? Are you alert? Elohim have eight appointed times; Do you know what time it is?
