Are we awake to the kingdom of Yeshua the Messiah? Do you know what time is it? Part 2
Are we awake to the kingdom of Yeshua the Messiah? Do you know what time is it? Part 2
Numbers 29:7 “On the tenth day of this seventh month you are to have a holy convocation. You are to deny yourselves, and you are not to do any kind of work;” CJB
On the seventh month for Yom Kippur, it is a time not to work and to afflict your souls. The Hebrew word used is Anah/ עָנָהor humble, bow down, repent; perhaps fasting before our Elohim.
What are we doing in our lives that is impacting the kingdom of Elohim? Many times, we think that we need to do big things to make a difference but the very small things are the ones that makes big difference in our lives and the lives of people surrounding us. Being polite, respectful, standing for the truth of Yeshua the Messiah, practicing mercy, and telling people about Yeshua.
Every day our behavior counts. The Lord told Joshua to be strong and bold and to keep His words. His words will remove fear and give us the courage to witness. Joshua 1.
We need to wake up to the deceptions of this world and stand for the morals of Yeshua the Messiah. Yeshua tells us not to be deceived.
Ephesians 5:6 “Let no one deceive you with empty talk; for it is because of these things that God’s judgment is coming on those who disobey him. 7 So don’t become partners with them!” CJB
It is time to wake up to our everyday time and use our time wisely.
Ephesians 5:14-20 “since anything revealed is a light. This is why it says, “Get up, sleeper! Arise from the dead, and the Messiah will shine on you!” 15 Therefore, pay careful attention to how you conduct your life — live wisely, not unwisely. 16 Use your time well, for these are evil days. 17 So don’t be foolish, but try to understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 Don’t get drunk with wine, because it makes you lose control. Instead, keep on being filled with the Spirit — 19 sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to each other; sing to the Lord and make music in your heart to him; 20 always give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.” CJB
Remember Ananias and his wife Sappirah, they wanted to do something big; noticeable to everyone; but in their hearts, they were deceived and that deception brought them death.
Acts 5:1-4 “But there was a man named Hananyah who, with his wife Shappirah, sold some property 2 and, with his wife’s knowledge, withheld some of the proceeds for himself; although he did bring the rest to the emissaries. 3 Then Kefa said, “Why has the Adversary so filled your heart that you lie to the Ruach HaKodesh and keep back some of the money you received for the land? 4 Before you sold it, the property was yours; and after you sold it, the money was yours to use as you pleased. So what made you decide to do such a thing? You have lied not to human beings but to God!” CJB
Think about Paul, he did many things, and one of them is obedience through celebrating Yom Kippur, (Acts 29:9)
Do you know what time it is?
