Things People Did – Part 9

The Trip was not disappointing

Have you ever taken a vacation, that was disappointing, not what was expected? Have you ever gone to a restaurant and you did not enjoy the food?  In our lives we get many disappointed moments; however, there is a traveling road that will never disappoint, a traveling road that is filled with hope, joy, and prosperity.

There were some men, who had a hunch that something big was going to be happening in Bethlehem, so they set off on a long journey, excited, full of expectations, and joy.  They had a revelation that Yeshua the King will be born. When they arrived, they saw Myriam with the child Yeshua in her home and they bow down and worshipped Him.

Surpassing joy, was all they had in their hearts.  This great revelation was given to them and they did not dismiss it.

Matthew 10:10-11 “When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great gladness. 11 And when they came into the house, they saw the Child with His mother Miriam; and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.” TLV

They brought precious gifts to present to the King of the Universe.  A child that will soon grow up and died for the sins of the world.

The trip was not disappointing at all.  The revelation they had was true. The gifts they left behind were a blessing to them.  Their obedience was rewarded with a scripture that says “Pay in full.”

Yeshua never disappoints us.  He is the good shepherd that gave His life for the sheep. He is the way, the truth, and the life.  The travelers found complete satisfaction and went away with great shalom, knowing that the struggle to survive the plague called the death was defeated.

Yeshua knows everything about you.  He does not disappoint.
