Someone from the crowd said while they wanted to seize Yeshua:

“When the Messiah comes, He won’t perform more signs than this person has, will He?”

Yeshua was turning people upside down; especially, those who did not want his message of salvation.  The ruling Kohanim and Pharisees wanted to arrest him. John 7:31-32.

Another person had it right when he said:

 “Isn’t this the person they’re trying to kill? 26 Look, He speaks openly and they’re saying nothing to Him. Can it be that the leaders know He is the Messiah? John 7:25-26.

They knew very well who Yeshua was but they rejected Him.  Yeshua said: You know both who I am and where I am from! John 7:28.

They were rejecting Yeshua because they did not know Elohim. John 7:28.

They were very angry with Yeshua because He was setting people free from control and manipulation.  Free from sickness, death, and humiliation.

People were listening to Him and the leaders hated Him.

Another person in the crowd said, “This man really is the Prophet.” John 7:40.

Yeshua was opening the eyes to people about Torah and the rulers and Pharisees did not want that because they thought that they were the only ones who can understand Torah. John 7:49.

Don’t let hate overcome you.  Love and believe the good news.
