John 8:32 “you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” CJB

Pilate said to Yeshua,

Matthew 18:38 “What is truth?”

These words of Pilate reveal that even though the truth was standing right in front of HIM; he failed to recognize Yeshua. They reveal the stage of life that Pilate was living which was a life of deception and bondage.  Pilate failed to realize that true power, fame, and liberty only come through trusting in Yeshua.  He said with his mouth that Yeshua was the King but he failed to see outside of the realm of Caesar, of the Roman Empire, outside of himself and his ideology, intellectualism, and supremacy.

Yeshua said: I am the way the truth and Life.

Of course, Pilate did not know this; he was living in his four-corner world.

He did not believe nor understood who Yeshua was, to Pilate the day-by-day living was his reality.  He missed the true freedom.

Yeshua is saying to you now:

Matthew 11:28-29 “Come to me, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.^[f] 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” CJB
