Things You Will Not Find In Heaven - Part 2

On this earth we do things that in one time or another we will feel embarrassed.  This world will not last and repentance and walking in the ways of Yeshua the Messiah is investing in blessings that will last forever.

One of the things you will not find in heaven is

Shame:

Have you ever been embarrassed or ashamed of something?  All of us have done something, shameful, that don’t feel very proud about. When these things happen, we don’t want to talk about it, not even to Elohim.  We think we can hide it from Him but He knows all things.

Isaiah 61:7 “Instead of your shame you shall have double honor,” TLV (NP)

Think about the son who left home with his inheritance, he finds out that he had it fine and that life outside of the protection and love of His father was very difficult. He thought he was going to be able to make it on his own and that his fortune would last forever.  Very soon he found out otherwise. He felt such shame but he went back home anyway.

Luke 15:21-25 “ 21 His son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against Heaven and against you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son but his father said to his slaves, ‘Quick, bring out a robe, the best one, and put it on him; and put a ring on his finger and shoes on his feet; and bring the calf that has been fattened up, and kill it. Let’s eat and have a celebration! For this son of mine was dead, but now he’s alive again! He was lost, but now he has been found!’ And they began celebrating.

What to do?

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know what plans I have in mind for you,’ says ADONAI,‘ plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”

The young man repented and went back to his father.
